"...Wednesday was move-in day for the freshman who will
be living in the dorms. Fortunately, Calvin College
provided help for the families with it's "We Haul"
program. That's where students and staff help the
families move-in.
Incoming freshman like Caleb Schott says it's a new
experience, but one that he a ready for. "Thankfully, I'm
not to far from home, but it's gonna be different not
having the things I'm used to. Thankfully, it's a phone
call away. It will take some getting used to, but I'm
excited about it. Schott is coming to Grand Rapids from a
suburb of Chicago. He is a Computer Science major.
This is the first year since 2007, that Calvin College had
1,000 first-year students. Classes begin September 3rd.
