Shouldn't jim kok be on this list? "Chris Holstege Named 2017 Recipient of 2017 Calvin College Knight of Distinction Award - Calvin Knights
Jim Kok was a great Calvin BB player alongside his hi-school pal Tony Diekema [both Holland Christian stars], & was all-MIAA at least twice [if i recall correctly] & went on to serve the CRC as an ordained pastor , & was a CPE pioneer for the CRC.
He also was chaplain supervisor at Pine Rest Christisn Hospital,& later a pastor at the Crystal Cathedral [all the while retaining his affiliation w/ the CRC as a chaplain] (& it's not his fault the church went bankrupt), where he started a kindness ministry & annual international conference, among other things. Jim also played tennis at Calvin.
If Jim isn't at least considered as a recipient for this award,it's a major oversight or one has to suspect ugly "politics" at play.
