she wouldn't pose for a picture. she had been by my side for a while- but I was starting to realize her affection was fake. But why ? Why go thru all that work - all the pretense if she didn't really like me ? What did she think she would get from me ? Some people though I was "rich" but in reality, not so much. I had rich relatives, but that did not, and does not, make me rich.
